Warping and Weaving on the Rigid Heddle Loom: This will be a hands-on workshop to get you weaving on your rigid heddle loom! We will cover the basics of warping, warp the looms and get you started on a project. Students must bring, or purchase their own looms. We now have several models of rigid heddle looms, including the very portable Ashford Knitter's loom, and the Schacht "Flip" that is full size but folds up. We will choose appropriate yarn(s) on class day or prior to class. Space is limited, so please sign up early and plan on a fun afternoon. The cost is $35.00. Taught by Tim Ackerman or Nancy de Caprariis |
