Warping and Weaving on the Rigid Heddle Loom: This will be a hands-on workshop to get you weaving on your rigid heddle loom! We will cover the basics of warping, warp the looms and get you started on a project. Students must bring, or purchase their own looms. We now have several models of rigid heddle looms, including the very portable Ashford Knitter's loom, and the Schacht "Flip" that is full size but folds up. We will choose appropriate yarn(s) on class day or prior to class. Space is limited, so please sign up early and plan on a fun afternoon. The cost is $35.00. Weaving on an Inkle Loom:  One  of the oldest types of weaving known, no previous experience is needed to quickly produce delicate woven patterns.  Learn design, warping and finishing techniques that will produce woven bands for belts, bag straps, trims or headbands.  Strips are also swen together to create purses, table runners, or garments.  Come see our sample.  Bring your own loom or purchase one here.  The cost is $25.00.  Taught by Nancy de Caprariis. Loom use:  For those customers who have taken the floor loom class, and want to use one of our looms for another
project, simply sign up for a time when we have an empty loom.  There is no fee for the loom use; the only restriction
is that the yarn must come from Sheep Street.

Other Weaving Classes: We can help you with other specific weaving projects if you have something
in mind that you feel you want help with. Also, between weaving classes, we sometimes have an empty loom available
for those who need a spot to weave. Just check in with us to schedule a time when we have a loom available.
